To enhance community members' participation in development, Community Development Committees (CDC) are formed under each Community Development Program (CDP). Good Neighbors Mongolia regularly organizes meetings, capacity-building training, and joint sessions to help members acquire knowledge about the state budget, budget investments, local development fund planning, electronic platforms for budget monitoring, and the importance of social responsibility and citizen participation.
We regularly recruit volunteers from schools, universities, communities, and the public. Volunteers are introduced to Good Neighbors' mission, safeguarding policy, volunteer guidelines, rights, and responsibilities, and then sign a volunteer contract.
They also participate in capacity-building training designed to ensure volunteer sustainability and enhance their impact. Additionally, volunteers attend the annual workshop, where they report on their accomplishments over the year, share suggestions for program improvement, and help set the direction for future activities.
Good Neighbors Mongolia forms expert teams from various fields to provide independent services, creating an effective cooperation network that enhances project quality and impact. For example, the “Capacity Building Program for Psychologists” was established to offer professional and methodological support to the psychological counseling program for survivors of gender-based violence.
